Voice Matters Terms of Service

The rules of the road for using the Voice Matters AI voice agent platform — accounts, acceptable use, AI outputs, and liability.

Last updated · August 8, 2026

Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Voice Matters websites, APIs, and applications (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Accounts

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account, including API keys and team members you invite.
  • Password reset links are single-use and time-limited. Notify us immediately of unauthorized access.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.

The Service

Voice Matters lets you configure voice agents (speech-to-text, LLM, text-to-speech), workflows, telephony integrations, and call analytics. Features and plan limits may change as we improve the product.

The Service depends on third-party providers (models, STT/TTS, carriers). We are not responsible for outages or policy changes of those providers, though we work to keep pipelines resilient.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive calling (including illegal robocalls, harassment, or fraud).
  • Violate TCPA, TSR, GDPR, or other telemarketing, privacy, or consumer protection laws.
  • Record or process calls without required notices and consents.
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or breach security, or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by law.
  • Resell the Service without a written agreement, or use it to train competing foundation models from our proprietary UI/content without permission.
  • Upload malware or content that infringes others’ rights.

Your content

You retain ownership of prompts, agent configs, CRM data, and other content you submit (“Customer Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Content solely to provide and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the rights and consents needed for Customer Content and for contacting the people your agents call or answer.

AI-generated output

Agent responses are probabilistic and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing outputs in high-stakes use cases and for how you deploy agents in production.

We do not guarantee that any specific model output is free of third-party claims; evaluate tools and prompts carefully for your domain.

Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed according to the pricing shown at purchase or in your order form. Usage beyond plan limits may incur overage fees or throttling. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise.

We may change prices with reasonable notice for the next billing period.

Intellectual property

Voice Matters and its logos, UI, and software are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of our IP. Feedback you provide may be used freely to improve the product.

Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR $100 IF YOU ARE ON A FREE PLAN).

Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time through available product tools or by contacting us. Where offered, you may export a copy of workspace data you own before deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; data handling is described in our Privacy Policy (including residual backups and legal retention). Provisions that by nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability limits) will survive.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Voice Matters is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue, subject to applicable law.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
