Voice Matters Cookie Policy

How Voice Matters uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and optional analytics on the voice agent platform.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session tokens. This Cookie Policy explains how Voice Matters uses them.

Types we use

  • Essential: required to sign in, keep sessions secure, load the dashboard, and remember critical preferences. The Service cannot function without these.
  • Functional: remember UI choices (e.g. collapsed sidebar) where implemented.
  • Analytics (if enabled): help us understand aggregate traffic and feature usage so we can improve reliability. We prefer privacy-respecting, cookieless or first-party analytics where possible.
  • Marketing (if enabled): only with consent where required; used to measure campaign effectiveness.

Authentication storage

Access and refresh tokens may be stored in secure browser storage or httpOnly cookies depending on configuration. Password reset tokens are single-use, short-lived, and delivered via email (or a dev-only link when email is not configured).

Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings (block, delete, or alert on cookies). Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or break the dashboard.

Where we use non-essential cookies that require consent, we will provide a consent mechanism before setting them.

Third parties

Some embedded or linked services (payment, support widgets, documentation hosts) may set their own cookies. Review their policies for details.

Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices change. Check the “Last updated” date on this page.
